Bengaluru: separate the parks from the historic city
The Tatilmerkezi Stork builds a first visit around two parks, a connected historic cluster and meals introducing Karnataka cooking, rather than the addresses of technology companies. You will also encounter the name Bangalore; both names refer to the city covered here, not two separate destinations. Five calendar days and four nights leave three complete sightseeing days between arrival and departure. If adding one free day to a business trip, choose one cluster instead of compressing the entire plan. Lalbagh and Cubbon Park are different places, and visiting them on separate days gives green spaces more meaning than a brief photograph stop. A national tourism page lists many possibilities, but this guide does not attempt a tour of Karnataka state. It aims to make the beginning, meal and return of each city day understandable.
Five days, four nights and three complete visits
Day one is arrival and settling in; avoid a long museum programme after the flight. Day two focuses on Lalbagh and a meal in the southern part of the city. Day three links KR Market, Bangalore Fort and Tipu Sultan Summer Palace. Day four combines Cubbon Park with a short central-city walk, while day five is departure. The calculation provides three full sightseeing days and four accommodation nights. Plan the second day lunch, third day market visit and fourth day relaxed return individually. A central base does not guarantee walking access to every attraction. If one location is closed, shortening the same cluster is more practical than adding a monument across the city. Mysuru and Nandi Hills are not automatic additions: they require extra time, connections and a different travel purpose.
Lalbagh: leave a generous morning for the garden
Do not reserve only enough time to photograph the glasshouse and leave. Allow for garden paths, seated rest and the return to your chosen exit. The Bengaluru Urban official tourism page introduces the glasshouse and botanical garden among city attractions. A special flower show and an ordinary garden visit have different programmes, so check currently open sections and event arrangements separately. A shorter walk remains a valid option when long paths or stairs do not suit you. Adding another distant park and a shopping centre to the same morning reduces time in the garden. Decide the exact lunch address before leaving; the names Basavanagudi or Jayanagar do not by themselves describe a complete door-to-door journey. Quiet observation in the garden and a warm regional meal can give the day a simple, satisfying shape.
KR Market: a short look at a working city
Treat KR Market as an active shopping environment. Keep corridors clear, give customers room at stalls and communicate with sellers before taking close photographs. Different floors need not carry the same produce or have identical activity. The basement photograph in this guide shows fruit and vegetable stalls; not every part of the visit should be labelled a flower market. Decide whether you actually want to buy anything before carrying large shopping bags through the following palace visit. Pause before moving into the nearby historic cluster. A meeting point outside can be easier than having an entire group stop in one narrow passage. This guide invents neither a standard discount for bargaining nor fixed current prices. The actual product and conditions offered on the day determine a purchase.

Bangalore Fort and Tipu Sultan Summer Palace
The fort and summer palace are separate structures. Determine the order of this third sightseeing day by checking open entrances and visitor conditions. The fort offers a stone entrance structure, whereas wooden columns and galleries provide another way of reading the palace. An older photograph does not establish which doors, exhibits or rooms will be available now. Keep visitor circulation clear when stopping to listen to an explanation. Ask staff about photography inside the palace: public tourism information does not automatically grant permission in every room. The market, fort and palace give the day a concrete framework, without requiring another long city tour afterwards. Choosing lunch beforehand and reconsidering the return according to evening traffic can make this historic day easier to finish.

Cubbon Park and a shorter central-city day
Use Cubbon Park as the green beginning of day four. Instead of repeating the Lalbagh day, arrange a shorter park walk and a central-city pause. An exact address around MG Road or Church Street can form the end of the walk; check the connection using current maps and transport information. Official tourism material also identifies the library building around the park, but this guide does not assume visitor entry to every building. If adding a museum, check its actual programme and ticket arrangements and shorten the walk accordingly. Planning both activities at full length does not expand the capacity of the day. Reserve the last complete evening for shopping or a favourite meal so fewer tasks remain on departure morning. This day can stay more flexible than the others when weather or arrangements change.

A Karnataka meal: bisi bele bath and smaller snacks
Incredible India introduces Karnataka dishes in the Bengaluru food context. Bisi bele bath combines rice, lentils and vegetables and provides a concrete lunch option. Maddur vada is a regional example associated with Mandya, rather than a Bengaluru invention. After a dosa or idli breakfast, another large plate at every stop is unnecessary. Choose bisi bele bath for one sightseeing-day lunch and a smaller vada and coffee pause at another point. Select from what the kitchen actually offers that day. If trying Mysore pak, preserve its regional context: being sold in Bengaluru does not mean the sweet originated here. Understanding local and regional cooking does not require racing between distant dining addresses during one afternoon. An open kitchen near the chosen sightseeing cluster can make food curiosity part of the practical daily plan.
Accommodation, connections and final preparation
Compare an option around MG Road or Richmond Town with one around Jayanagar or Basavanagudi. Access to central walking and a convenient start for the southern day may offer different advantages; a neighbourhood name guarantees neither quiet nor low prices. Verify your airport terminal and the actual accommodation meeting address separately. An announced metro project does not by itself prove an operating direct airport connection. Consult BMRCL for suitable city stations and current operating information, then plan the final connection to the door separately. No current fare or exact journey duration is invented here. Give the departure transfer allowance for traffic and pack on the final sightseeing evening. Sources were checked on 4 October 2026. If arrival or departure times change, recalculate whether all three complete sightseeing days really remain available.
